CentOS 6.3 on Dell R210

After being able to install a CentOS 6.3 on this little beauty Dell server, I got terrified with this interfaces output.
So, what the hell are these weird names em1 em2 p1p1 p1p2 ? 

Simple (and some kind of overkill) solution: rpm -e biosdevname...
